Diversity Statement

Aalto Human-Computer Interaction and Security Engineering Lab promotes students from a variety of backgrounds and endorses a culture that stimulates collaboration and a sense of belonging to all of its members. Many of our lab members represent underrepresented populations in computer science and we make an explicit effort to encourage these students and staff because our field still has a lot of progress to make. We acknowledge that diversity is critical to the success of our field. We hope that our lab culture and its commitment to increasing diversity can facilitate progress.
